Anyway, on ocassion I take my dog pal Gypsy out to my country friend's house for a romp in the woods. She is Labrador/Husky mix. Her two favorite things are water to swim in and snow to play in. Go figure! You can just see her light up. The closer we get to where we are going the more excited she gets, especially after she has figured out where we are headed.
Well, at my friend's house there was a good two feet of snow. Gypsy was thrilled. My friend and I walked back through the property with Gypsy, and I did what I like best; take pictures.
Here are some pictures from our day in the snow:

That is a beautiful dog and the landscape photos are really cool.
Thanks! I just love my Gypsy dog. Can you believe that she is going to be 12 this November? She still hops the gate on occasion at home!
Aaah, beautiful winter photos. And you go Gypsy! What a sweetie!
We never get snow... well, rarely. Maybe a good snow once every five years or so.
Lovely photos and interesting blog. Wish you the best.
Mom - I cannot imagine not getting snow! I am SO a winter person, and this winter has been such a special treat. We have had mild winters for the past several years. This year we actually have snow that has stuck around for quite a while. I just LOVE it!
Earthtoholly - Thanks, she is a sweetie!
Marlene - The best to you as well!
Beautiful photos. I know how you feel. I too am trapped in the city although my heart yearns for the country. I enjoyed your blog.
It must be fun playing in the snow, right?
Lunaticg - It is SO MUCH FUN playing in the snow! You should have seen my friend's face when I threw a snowball at her. It was priceless. Not to mention snow angels, snow forts, snowball fights, and photo ops. Snow is a beautiful gift from God in my humble opinion. I thank Him for it often.
Fearless - I have learned to incorporate as much country into my life as possible. I think that is why we camp MUCH more often than we stay in hotels. I am SO looking forward to our camping trips this summer!
